About Ivychat

Ivychat makes college advice affordable and accessible to all students. Ivychat was founded by student managers and alumni of
Harvard Student Agencies.

What is Ivychat?

Ivychat gives high schoolers access to a network of undergrad advisors at their favorite colleges to get advice on college, careers and life. Topics may include extracurriculars, standardized tests, college applications, the interview process, life on campus, and beyond.

For High School Students

As high school students, you can ask the questions that matter to you most on your personal journey. Think of our advisors as an extended network of friends who have recently gone through their own college application process. Speaking to a number of undergrad advisors across each college can offer a more complete picture of how to get the most out of the next few years.

For College Students

As undergrad advisors, you can start each call with a brief background on yourself, and then ask how you can be most helpful during the one hour session. Think of the initial call as a building block to a potentially longer term advisor-advisee relationship. High schoolers will rate advisors after each call and search results are ranked based on positive reviews.
